Formed in the Hudson Valley in 2003, The Russet Trio is more than a traditional string-band. Known for vibrant arrangements and dynamic syncopation the trio blends Appalachian, Celtic, Folk, Blues and Pop influences with an effortless and original voice. They perform vocal concerts, dances, festivals and weddings across the Northeastern US and beyond, moving audiences both on and off the dance floor. Their debut album, “Pine Board Ballroom” was recorded in Woodstock NY in 2016.  Recent appearances include Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Adirondack Dance Weekend and Jacobs Pillow, amongst others.
