Traditional Sweat Lodge Ceremonies

Information at a glance:

Arrival: Saturday, 2/14 @ 9:30–10:00 AM (Ceremony follows).
Sweat Lodges: Saturday morning & Sunday early afternoon (tentative).
Dining: Bring a dish for Sat/Sun Potluck dinners. All other meals are DIY (Farm Store is 1 mile away).
Lodging: Overnight space available on-site; see attached rates.

On February 13th, it will be exactly 5 years since our Elder Grandfather Albert Ward left this world.  In remembrance, we'll be bringing some of his favorite foods to share at our potluck meal following Saturday's lodge. We may even do some drumming/singing on the big community drum. 

Again, all are welcome. Maybe we can all learn some new (very old) songs....

Helpful info:

*Arrival time is between 9:30-10am on Saturday 2/14. Ceremony will begin shortly after.
*There will likely be several sweat lodges--- one happening Saturday morning, and another possibly on Sunday early afternoon. 
*Please plan to bring something to share for our potluck dinner on Saturday and Sunday. All other meals/snacks are on our own, as needed. Hawthorne Valley Farm Store (with groceries, hot food, bakery, soups, etc.) is just 1 mile away from Mettabee. 
*Currently, there is overnight space available at the farm if you'd like to stay. Info about lodging and Mettabee rates are attached.
