Berkshire-based folk duo Oakes and Smith creates an ethereal sound not often heard in today’s popular music. With their soulful original songs, the couple evokes a sense of wonder, expressing themes of love, creativity, mystery, and an appreciation of natural beauty. The duo performs regularly at Canyon Ranch and the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, as well as other venues throughout the Berkshires and beyond.

Justin Green • percussion, piano, harmonium, vocals
Justin Green is an experiential facilitator, musician, and massage therapist. At the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, MA, Justin was introduced to the heart-opening practice of Kirtan, a devotional yogic practice of call-and-response chanting. Justin enjoys building connection with music, laughter, and chocolate.

Kalidasa Joseph Getter • flute, clarinet, percussion, vocals
Kalidasa Joseph Getter is a multi-instrumentalist, ethnomusicologist, educator, and creative world musician, making music for dance, theater, yoga, sound healing, and more. He lived in India for two years and has degrees in Religion from Oberlin College and in Ethnomusicology from Wesleyan University. Kalidasa also leads and accompanies Kirtan.

Will Boyce • poetry
Will Boyce is a poet, qigong teacher and a Christian contemplative retreat leader who has spent the majority of his career helping people suffering from addictions. When he’s not writing poetry you can often find him hiking, reading late Victorian supernatural fiction or playing with his pug but not necessarily in that order.
