Have you ever stopped to think about the threads which make up the fabric of everyday life? How sometimes they feel so perfectly knit together, while at other times they feel more like a tangled web of knots? Every fiber has a source, but what keeps them from completely unraveling? Woven together, these loose ends create a new story.
Join our RagTag group of thread-barren, yarn-spinning characters around the fire as they explore a new patchwork world. You'll be entwined with our group of mismatched artists as they stitch together a tapestry of talents: from high-flying, knot-tying, gravity defying aerialists, to loopy jugglers, to musicians that pull your heart strings, and comedy that leaves you in stitches. Join us as we gather stories that never got to be told. Can we find a common thread? Come witness how six separate threads are inevitably intertwined.
WORKSHOPS:
Intro to Circus: Run away with the circus, at least for a couple of hours! This Workshop from 1-3 pm is for ages 8 and up. Youll get specialized instruction from the Cirque Us experts, and amaze your friends! Participants will learn a wide variety of circus disciplines including, acrobatics, human pyramids, juggling, clowning and more! No previous experience is required.
Juggling: Run away with the circus, at least for a couple of hours! This Workshop from 1-3 pm is for ages 8 and up. You’ll get specialized instruction from the Cirque Us experts, and amaze your friends! This two hour juggling workshop is for people with some basic juggling skills through advanced skills. Students will learn the basics of juggling and practice progressions so they can continue to develop their skills after the workshops. More advanced students will be able to work on advanced tricks as well as group juggling. Please feel free to bring your own juggling props!
Clowning: Run away with the circus, at least for a couple of hours! This Workshop from 11am-1 pm is for ages 8 and up. Youll get specialized instruction from the Cirque Us experts, and amaze your friends! This two hour workshop will be all about clowning and performance! Participants will learn the art of clowning through a variety of games and exercises.
Lessons: The cast of RagTag is offering private lessons for our more serious circus students. Students can request coaches and disciplines they would like to work on. Lessons can be 30 minutes - 1 hour and prices will vary. Limited availability, to book please email doug@thecirqueus.com
