International Folk Dancing

International folk dance is a genre of dance where in selected folk dances from multiple ethnic groups are done by the same dancers, typically as part of a regular recreational group. The dances are typically considered the products of a national or culturaltraditions rather than part of an international tradition. International folk dancers need not be a member of any particular ethnicity.

Maggie moved to Columbia County, raised her family and worked in the beautiful Triform Camphill Community since 1996.  After graduating from the Level lll training at the Spacial Dynamics Institute, she has gained great interest in bringing movement to folks of all ages and abilities.  International folk dancing brings a social, spatial and harmonious offering to the practice of making human encounter meaningful and fun.
