Mamalama

5:30pm: Picnic     7:00pm: Show Begins

Kids and Adults $10-$20 Suggested

It is rare for a musical group to express a truly new sound that can transport listeners into yet undiscovered musical spaces. Mamlama has found such a sound that will deeply delight, transform and awaken all ages into places where we want to be. Their music is unique, accessible, pleasing and deeply meaningful. Do not miss this opportunity to experience them!

Mamalama is an uncommon form of singer-songwriting for harp and ethereal female voice, hammered dulcimer, upright bass, piano, french horn, and strings. A listening experience that has been described as "like walking into a dream." Mamalama seamlessly weaves together world music (Native American, Middle Eastern, Celtic), classical minimalism, sacred music, indie-chamber orchestration, and vivid lyrical mysticism.

"....a stunningly beautiful, intoxicating sound that may lull you to a place of peace, if only you allow it."      Chronogram Magazine
