The Waxwing Four is a jubilee quartet, singing rollicking radio gospel from the 1930s and’40s as well as bluegrass quartets, shape note hymns, and Appalachian ballads. With infectious rhythm and tight harmony, the boys have delighted audiences throughout New England and are excited to be performing at the Old Songs Festival in Altamont, NY this summer. Leading up to the festival, they will be performing in Amherst, Mass. and Tinmouth, Vermont.
The Waxwing Four is Wheaton Squier, Brendan Taaffe, Adam Jacob Simon, and Stefan Amidon. Seasoned musicians, members of the band also perform with The Washed Up Beulah Band, The Sweetback Sisters, The Bright Wings Chorus, Northern Harmony, The Starry Mountain Singers, and The Devil Makes Three.
