Camp Details
One-Week Camp Campers learn the basic skills of balance board, rolling globe, unicycle, tight wire, stilts, acrobatics, juggling, and clowning. Each day begins with a group game and a fun, full-body circus warm-up, followed by introductions/techniques for each skill. Campers then rotate in groups through a series of circus learning “stations” to practice skills. After lunch, juggling and “circus skills choice time” round out each afternoon. This week is a good introduction for first-time campers and also for returning campers working to advance skills mastery and try combinations of skills.
Two-Week Camp We turn our skills into collective acts for a "showcase" open to the community at the end of our two weeks. This changes the camp day activity and focuses our afternoons on theme building, choreography, and simple set, prop, or costume creations. This camp is open to campers who have done week one or have participated previously and have some basic skills.

Payment ensures your child’s place. Places fill quickly, so don't hesitate! Checks in the full amount or a deposit of $150 per child will hold a place. All balances are due on the first day of camp (I'm happiest to receive any balances in cash). No child will be permitted to participate without payments and all completed forms.
Payment Plans: If you require a payment plan, please contact me ASAP to make special arrangements.
Refund Policy: If camp is cancelled, you will receive a full reimbursement. If you need to withdraw your child, you will be refunded (minus a $50 processing fee) provided I receive notice by June 1. After June 1, there can be no refunds.
Scholarships: Please consider donating to our camp scholarship fund to help families who otherwise would be unable to attend. Contact Laura for more information.
Important Logistics
Hours Please note the different start times for the earlier and later camps:
June (One-Week): 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM
August (Two-Week): 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Attire Campers should wear comfortable clothing with shirts that cover the torso (either tight-fitting or tucked in for going upside down). A pair of properly fitting sneakers is a must. Athletic summer sandals with covered toes (like Keen or Teva) are also okay. No flip-flops or rubber rain boots! These can be worn to camp but must be exchanged at the door for circus sneakers.
Please bring a bathing suit, towel, AND an extra set of clothes every day; children may play in the stream or sprinkler during lunch. Please provide a sun hat and sunblock. Long hair should be tied back. Please leave jewelry, watches, toys, and electronic gadgets at home.
Nourishment Circus skills use LOTS of energy! Have your child eat a hearty breakfast, a snack on the way to camp, and bring a large, nutrient-rich lunch. No sweets, please. Water is available all day, but a personal, well-chilled water bottle is a welcomed extra.
